Opeyemi Enoch is a Nigerianscholar, academic and a Professor of Mathematics at the Federal University Oye Ekiti.[1] He shot into worldwide recognition after claiming to have solved the Riemann hypothesis &#;one of the Millennium Prize Problems stated by the Clay Mathematics Institute&#; during his presentation at the International Conference on Mathematics and Computer Science in Vienna, Austria.[2][3][4] Enoch's proof has since been criticized as "fake" and "a hoax",[5][6] with Clay Mathematics Institute refusing to verify Enoch's claims.[7]
